CCO is gearing up for its first evangelical medical mission! This summer, we have been invited by the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal to partner with them in Comayagua, Honduras, in the St. Joseph Medical Clinic. We will be providing health care (surgeries and clinical care) as well as seeking to share the Gospel with patients and their families, and inviting them into a relationship with Christ.

This mission is geared towards medical professionals, as well as students who are studying in a variety of medical fields. However, it is possible that students or alumni without a medical background may be considered.

Through the training you’ve received in school, and through your involvement in CCO, you’ve gained the tools you need to save lives AND souls. You can expect that on this mission you’ll have the opportunity to use both. A number of details for this mission are still being worked out, so please check back mid-November when the application opens for more info!

What’s Included in the Cost: Orientation, food & lodging in-country, project materials, in-country transportation.

What’s Not Included: Immunizations & personal travel medicines, travel to and from Tegucigalpa, Honduras, passport and visa expenses, travel medical insurance, other personal incidentals

Fundraising: Each CCO Missions Participant has the opportunity to fundraise the entire cost of his or her mission trip. After you have been accepted on a mission trip, you will be contacted by a CCO staff member regarding fundraising.
