My name is Alysha Miller. I’m from rural Saskatchewan, in a town called Clavet, just a short drive east of Saskatoon. I’m a third year student at the University of Saskatchewan studying Biomedical Science (Cellular, Physiological, Pharmacological Sciences) with hopes of one day becoming a pharmacist.
When I’m not doing school (which isn’t too often), I love to bake, cook and read. I love to dance as well; I took dance classes for 15 years and participated in many school musicals and performances. My favourite book of the Bible is Romans and my favourite Bible verse is Matthew 5:14-16
Why do I want to be on Mission?
I have always wanted to go on a mission trip so when the opportunity arose, I jumped at it. I love sharing my faith with others and being apart of a community that helps me grow in my faith. I am able to acheive all that by attending this mission. Mission will give me an opportunity to share my faith with others in a new way and to grow in my relationships and fellowships with other people who value the same things as me. I cannot wait to see what God will do!
