About me

Welcome! My name is Amy and I’m so excited to be attending the World Youth Day Mission trip. My heart is in the prairies, as I was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. I am attending the University of Regina with a focus on Business Administration, majoring in Human Resources (I’m a huge people person). I am a proud member of Resurrection Parish, but spend time all around the Archdiocese, with a special passion for leading and accompanying youth.

I spend a lot of my time competing in academic case competitions, volunteering, and lifting weights at the gym! I am so excited to share and grow my faith in Portugal.

Why do I want to be on Mission?

Life is busy, and I always thought I would never be able to go on mission because my life had a plan and I couldn’t delay the plan. These last few years, the Spirit urged me to live God’s plan instead of my own. After a lot of prayer, I felt drawn to the World Youth Day Mission. I am so excited to experience such a global and see the love of God in all different languages, cultures, and in every one of His people.

While Catholic Christian Outreach seeks to honour the expressed preference of each gift, I acknowledge that my gift is a gift to the ministry of Catholic Christian Outreach and will be used by Catholic Christian Outreach in a manner that it believes will best advance its charitable purposes. If my preference changes, it is my responsibility to inform Catholic Christian Outreach.
