Hi hello!

My name is Andrea Limcangco. I’m in my third year of psychology with a minor in linguistics at the University of Calgary. I was born in the Philippines but moved to Calgary with my older sister and 2 wonderful parents at the age of 6. I am a youth leader at St. Patricks parish and enjoy leading a group of girls in weekly faith studies. I joined CCO in my second year of university and started to learn how to put Christ in the centre of my life.

During CCO’s Rise up 2018, I realized that I was a beloved child of God. I thought… How great would it be to be able to make it known to other individuals that they are also a beloved children of God. I thought being a faith study leader on campus would be a perfect way to do that. A week before applications was due one of the CCO staff asked if I thought about joining mission. So, I started to prayerfully discerned. Finally, God made it clear that I should breathe out the Holy Spirit and share the kerygma to the people in Honduras this May 2019.

I am SO very excited for this amazing opportunity to share my faith outside of my parish and catholic communities. More importantly, I cannot wait to be able to equip other university students to reach out to people on their campus and help those lost souls to encounter God in a personal way. In a world that is darkened by secularism, I hope to shed some light through Christ along with my fellow team members.

I kindly ask for your prayers and/or a tax-deductible donation towards this mission. By supporting me, you’re allowing me to become an instrument of God’s mission to share the gospel. I would like to thank you in advanced for your generosity. God bless.
