Hello! My name is Gabriel and I am a Simon Fraser University alumni. I recently graduated with a degree in Health Sciences and I am just starting to pursue my career in the health field.

Back in high school I had a major conversion to Jesus with a previous community. From there my heart had been captured and so much of myself was taken up into His love. Years later, after many personal challenges and growth, I encountered CCO on my university campus. One sole message that stood out to me through the faith studies was the realization that Jesus had become just a part of my life. God had taken on a role of becoming a means to my ends. I had fallen in love with the gifts, but no so much with the Giver.

Thankfully, through CCO’s faith studies I was able to re-encounter my relationship with Christ and come back into the pursuit of having Jesus at the center of my life. It was later through one of the annual Rise Up conferences that I was affirmed that Jesus wanted nothing but my whole life; every area of myself surrendered to Him in love and in complete trust.

They say that you go through two conversions: one of the heart, and one for mission. When my journey first started my heart was wholly captured and I never looked back. And now, through CCO, I have been moved again and I desire so much to bring the Gospel, the truth of God, and the love that He is to whoever I encounter and to whoever is willing to listen. I hope and pray that through our missions we can bring even just one soul back to Him. So much of the world–of people of all cultures, classes, and backgrounds–are in need of the love of Christ. And it all begins with simply reaching out.

Please keep myself and the mission teams in your prayers, and thank you for taking the time to read this!

In Christ,

“If we let Christ into our lives, we lose nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing of what makes life free, beautiful and great. No! Only in this friendship are the doors of life opened wide. Only in this friendship is the great potential of human existence truly revealed. Only in this friendship do we experience beauty and liberation. And so…I say to you, dear young people: Do not be afraid of Christ! He takes nothing away, and he gives you everything. When we give ourselves to him, we receive a hundredfold in return. Yes, open, open wide the doors to Christ – and you will find true life. Amen.” -Pope Benedict XVI

We lead evangelization missions around the world.
