About me

Hi, my name is Ghinlai Gerra, I am 18 years old and in my first year at Sheridan for Veterinary Technician. I love animals and one day would like to open up my own animal clinic. In my spare time, I crochet little animals, play the harp, and work at a kid’s playground. Some of my hobbies are drawing, watching anime, spending time with my friends and family, and listening to my favourite singer Selena Gomez. I also love reading dystopian fantasy.

Why do I want to be on Mission?

This is my very first mission and my very first time going out of the country without my family. I want to go on mission with CCO because I want to grow in my faith with Jesus and gain fellowship with others. Another reason I want to go on mission is to spread the Good News to everyone so that they can find their way to Jesus and allow the Holy Spirit into their hearts. I’ve heard about the experiences other people have had while on mission and I want to be able to experience all that comes with the missionary life; the joys, the difficulties, the relationships built and the spiritual growth that occurs.

While Catholic Christian Outreach seeks to honour the expressed preference of each gift, I acknowledge that my gift is a gift to the ministry of Catholic Christian Outreach and will be used by Catholic Christian Outreach in a manner that it believes will best advance its charitable purposes. If my preference changes, it is my responsibility to inform Catholic Christian Outreach.

CCO is a registered Canadian charity (#13782 4363 RR0001) and income tax receipts are issued in February of each year.
