Hello and welcome to my CCO missionary page! My name is Jean Lee Chan and with me, in my photo, is Aggie the Lamb. I am super excited and grateful to be one of the participants selected to partake on this 2020 Belize mission trip. (As much as I would love to take Aggie with me, I don’t think she can come)

I am a 4th year biological science student at the University of Guelph, as well as an active parishioner at Sts. Peter & Paul Parish in Mississauga. I’ve been a member of my chaplaincy for two years now and currently serve on the student executive team for the 2019-2020 term. I work closely with our CCO connect leaders and assist in leading faith studies, as well as in training first-time Discovery leaders. This experience has been extremely fulfilling as I get to be a first-hand witness in seeing students become on fire for Christ, and it’s a beautiful thing!

I leave for Belize City on May 13 for 20 days with CCO. During this time, we will be partnering with various parish miniseries and sharing CCO’s evangelistic materials including the Ultimate Relationship and the Discovery faith study. Our goal is to aid members of these parishes to proclaim the Gospel more clearly and simply.

Through this experience I hope to grow my missionary heart and gain the tools needed to be an active missionary in my own community. To participate in this mission project, I am responsible for raising a portion of the cost through tax-deductible donations to cover training, accommodations, food and transportation. The amount is $3600. I ask you to prayerfully consider partaking in this mission with me by making a donation.

Please pray for me, this mission and the hearts of the people we will encounter. Feel free to send me prayer intentions or contact me if you have any questions at
