My Story

Hi, my name is Joel. I’m a second year geology student at Mount Royal University in Calgary. I like skating and playing softball with coworkers in the summer.

I was raised Catholic but only really began to come to Christ when I found CCO on my campus. From there on out I found a real relationship with God and now understand how fulfilling it is and how it has changed my life for the better.

Why do I want to be on Mission?

I have been wanting to go on a mission since I found out that CCO does them annually. I have also wanted to go to Malta almost all my life since I found out it was a place. So putting those two together is a perfect combination for me.
