My Story

Hello everyone! My name is Marie, and I am in my second year of Music Education at the University of Saskatchewan. I live in the wonderful city of Saskatoon with my parents and seven younger siblings. As a music student, I have the great blessing of learning many instruments, with my primary ones being trumpet and violin. God willing, I hope to one day teach elementary and high school bands. Outside of music, I spend my time leading faith studies with CCO at the U of S, spending time with my family and occasionally line-dancing.

Why do I want to be on Mission?

Before starting university I took two gap years in which I served with NET Canada ministries as a missionary. Those two years were life-changing in so many aspects and sparked in my heart a desire to share the love of Jesus Christ with all. I decided to apply for this mission to partake in the call of the jubilee year of hope; to be pilgrims of hope. There is no greater way to live this out than actively sharing the gospel in word and deed, and I am so excited about the special ways that this mission will help me grow in holiness and mission.

Help Marie Make Jesus Known

While Catholic Christian Outreach seeks to honour the expressed preference of each gift, I acknowledge that my gift is a gift to the ministry of Catholic Christian Outreach and will be used by Catholic Christian Outreach in a manner that it believes will best advance its charitable purposes. If my preference changes, it is my responsibility to inform Catholic Christian Outreach.

CCO is a registered Canadian charity (#13782 4363 RR0001) and income tax receipts are issued in February of each year.
