My name is Melanie. I am an international student from Uganda studying biology at Carleton University in Ottawa. I have a strong passion for science and math and enjoy learning about the natural world. In my free time, I love going to the gym. I also enjoy trying out new activities, exploring the outdoors and appreciating the beauty in sunsets and nature. Being in a new environment has allowed me to grow meet new people and experience different cultures which I find exciting and enriching and shocking. Nevertheless worth the experience.

Why do I want to be on Mission?

I want to be on this mission because I would love for more people to hear about the good news and experience the joy and transformation that come with it as a believer. I have a passion for sharing my testimony and speaking about God because I know what its like to go without His word and presence. For a long time in my life, I didn’t have the opportunity and was limited to receive it and I understand how that feels. I wouldn’t want others to go through the same, so I want to bring God’s love and truth to those who need it. Everyone deserves his love.
