About me

Hello, my name is Peter!

I’m in my 3rd year of university pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Mount Royal University in Calgary. I’m also currently working at the Alberta Children’s Hospital as a Health Care Aide. I love playing guitar, playing rugby, having campfires and going on road trips!

I grew up hearing about CCO from my mom and dad, who were involved with CCO when they were in university. Although I’ve always valued my faith, it’s through CCO that I realized how important it was to have a personal relationship with Jesus. Making the decision to invite him to be at the centre of my life has shaped my time at Mount Royal, and gives me a desire to share this life-giving relationship with others! CCO has had a massive influence on me and I’m pumped to see what God has in store for me on this mission.

Why do I want to be on Mission?

My first experience with CCO missions was in 2021 on Mission True North in Calgary, Alberta. This mission was life-changing and propelled me forwards into living out my call to be missionary on my university campus. Travelling with 25 other university students gave me countless opportunities to share my faith, and learn how to present the Gospel clearly and simply. I also formed priceless relationships that I still hold to this day. This summer I can’t wait to see how God will move in the hearts of everyone who is touched by this mission to Uganda!

While Catholic Christian Outreach seeks to honour the expressed preference of each gift, I acknowledge that my gift is a gift to the ministry of Catholic Christian Outreach and will be used by Catholic Christian Outreach in a manner that it believes will best advance its charitable purposes. If my preference changes, it is my responsibility to inform Catholic Christian Outreach.

CCO is a registered Canadian charity (#13782 4363 RR0001) and income tax receipts are issued in February of each year.
