I am in my third year of Food Science at the University of Saskatchewan! I joined CCO in my first year on campus and was immediately drawn to the community and everyone’s love for Jesus! I quickly realized what a gift it is to be surrounded by people who are striving to live their lives for Christ. Throughout my time at university, I have both taken and led faith studies, which have deepened my faith in ways I never could have imagined!
I grew up on a grain farm near a small town in Saskatchewan! I love to be active and play different kinds of sports, such as volleyball and basketball, as well as dancing. Reading is my one of my favourite hobbies, and you can usually find me with multiple books started at once!

Why do I want to be on Mission?

At Rise Up this past December, I felt a stirring in my heart that I had never experienced before. I could sense that the Lord was calling me to a mission of some sort, but at the time, I was unsure what that looked like. I was a little hesitant to apply, but I felt that the Lord was drawing me there and asking me to trust Him. Through this invitation to say yes to mission, Jesus is calling me to tend to the lost. I desire to share the goodness of Christ with those who haven’t encountered His personal love for them.
