My Story
Hi! My name is Sarah, and I’m a first Year Respiratory therapy student at SAIT in Calgary. I was raised is Saskatoon with my 3 brothers, and moved to Calgary in September to start school. While being in Calgary, I have been a parishioner at St Mary’s Cathedral and in Saskatoon, I am a parishioner at St. Anne’s parish. I am involved with CCO at Mount Royal University where I have had the privilege of being a faith study leader this semester!
Why do I want to be on Mission?
I chose to go on this mission because I believe that God is going to do amazing things during it. I believe that hearts will turn to Him, and that faith will be strengthened. I think it is an incredible opportunity to grow in my faith and to have the opportunity to share the reason for my hope with others. I was introduced to a life of mission at a young age through an organization called Hope for Malawi, and this past summer, had the opportunity to go on mission to Malawi through St. Anne’s parish. That trip ignited a passion for mission in my heart and I am so excited to now be travelling with CCO and focusing on sharing the gospel message! I feel so blessed to have this opportunity and I am so excited to see how God works.
