Sophie L.

Hi, my name is Sophie. I am a second-year student at Mount Royal University studying Physical Literacy. I enjoy working with kids, so I aspire to be a pediatric occupational therapist. In my free time, I love being around my friends, reading, and scrapbooking. I found CCO in my first year of university through a friend. When I first encountered CCO, I lived a worldly life but desired more. Through the first CCO faith study (Discovery), I came to know Jesus personally and invited Him to be at the center of my life. Since then, I have discovered true love, and all the aspects of my life have been oriented towards Jesus.

Why do I want to be on Mission?

Ever since encountering Jesus, I have experienced a joy I have never known. I wanted to go to Malta, and through discernment, the Lord asked me to share the joy I had experienced. In a restless world that is consistently searching for answers, I want them to know that the answer is Jesus. His love transforms and can move mountains, and I wish the world to experience the joy and peace the Lord can bring. This inspires and drives me to go on mission to spread the Good News to the world.
