Angela Wong

As the only child of 2 loving parents growing up in Toronto, I learned about the knowledge of the faith through my attendance at Catholic schools. Despite this background, I was detached from seeing how it impacted my self-sufficient lifestyle. Through multiple encounters with the Catholic community and CCO at Queen’s University, I chose to enter into a personal relationship with Jesus in 2017. During that time, I learned how a Christ-centered life fully encompassed every aspect of what I was searching for: the love of God the Father and the community of those who called me to strive for holiness. And it has continued to impact how I live my life daily!

My Mission

In August 2022, I will begin serving as a marketing team member in Ottawa at CCO’s Headquarters. Having served for three years as a campus missionary at UBC in Vancouver and two years as an assistant in the Finance department, I am grateful for all the lessons I have learnt in each of these roles. I am very excited for this opportunity to share how CCO has and continues to impact the lives of students across Canada and around the world through this position. Clear and simple is a tenet of CCO, and if I could even assist in helping reach one more potential student, supporter, and/or parishioner through the sowing of the Gospel to allow others to reach heaven as a member of the marketing team, that would bring my heart joy.
