I was born and raised Catholic but only began to practice my faith when I attended a CFC-Youth Camp at the end of grade 11. It was at that youth camp where I encountered Christ again in the sacrament of confession and put Christ in the center of my life. It was in CFC-Youth where I grew in confidence both in identity and faith. I am grateful for the wholistic formation I received throughout my CFC years.
After high school I desired to go to a university that had a strong Catholic presence and is why I attended York University. Catholic Chaplaincy at York (CCY) helped nurture my faith through formation and friendship. It was there where I encountered CCO Faith studies both as a participant and as a leader. After graduating university, I was blessed to work for the Archdiocese of Toronto as a Totus Tuus missionary and Re:Generation missionary. All these experiences revealed within me a desire to be a missionary not just part-time but full-time.
I have a strong devotion to the Holy Family as I desire to have a family just like theirs, where Christ is in the center of their lives.
My favourite bible passage is Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things unseen.”
I am excited to be a campus missionary serving the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon. I am excited to be sent where CCO first began. I desire to encounter, challenge and journey with university students in putting Christ in the center of their life and become the saints they were made to be. I have a background in men’s ministry and my hope is to inspire men to strive for greatness, thrive on virtue and live for the Kingdom of God. I desire to seize every opportunity and have great expectations like Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati.
Joshua 25:15 “Now if you are unwilling to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve..; but as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”
ONGOING PRAYER REQUESTS
Prayers for all those I may encounter to put their hope and trust in the Lord. To never settle for anything less than what God has prepared for them. Lastly for my own sanctity and the sanctity of my family and team.
