I’m very excited to be part of the communications team at CCO. I’ll be managing the store, as well as providing marketing insights for the team as needed. Recently, I became a new father. My wife and I are excited to be starting the next season of our lives with CCO.

Previously, I was working for a digital design agency, Longbeard Creative, which does innovative work for many Church organizations. During my employment at Longbeard, I felt called to serve our Lord and the Church more directly with my background as a marketer. It was through my friendship with Jonathan Hilsden, another missionary with CCO, that I considered joining the family. God spoke very powerfully to myself and my wife at daily Mass one day with the Gospel of Luke:

After this the Lord appointed seventy others and sent them on ahead of him in pairs to every town and place where he himself intended to go. He said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore ask the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest. Go on your way. See, I am sending you out like lambs into the midst of wolves. Carry no purse, no bag, no sandals; and greet no one on the road. Whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace to this house!’ And if anyone is there who shares in peace, your peace will rest on that person; but if not, it will return to you. Remain in the same house, eating and drinking whatever they provide, for the laborer deserves to be paid. Do not move about from house to house. Whenever you enter a town and its people welcome you, eat what is set before you; cure the sick who are there, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’ But whenever you enter a town and they do not welcome you, go out into its streets and say, ‘Even the dust of your town that clings to our feet, we wipe off in protest against you. Yet know this: the kingdom of God has come near.’ I tell you, on that day it will be more tolerable for Sodom than for that town.” (Luke 10:1-12)

With this Word, we both decided to leave our jobs and become missionaries with CCO.

What I hope to do in CCO is to use the best that marketing has to offer in service of the Church and the New Evangelization. My vision is helping the Church better tell the stories of the Gospel and our faith in an engaging and beautiful way that is appealing to people of every stage of life.

I can provide CCO with the marketing skills to help focus and refine CCO’s ability to attract people, improve the educational tools used in the faith studies, and increase the reach and effectiveness of their online store. The Catholic Church, through the “Great Commission” by Christ*, is the oldest and arguably most effective organization at using ‘marketing’ strategies, although the Church has struggled in the past century. My dream is to see the Church again become the world leader in its ability to attract, convert, and ignite individuals with love for Christ and each other.

ONGOING PRAYER REQUESTS

I cannot venture out on this journey without the strong support of my family and friends, but also my incredible team of supporters. I ask you to please pray for myself and my family, and to prayerfully consider joining our support team with a monthly financial contribution.
