Jasmin Kierstead

Growing up I was at arms length with God, only giving Him parts of my life. Dealing with mental illness it was hard to completely surrender to Him. Why would He love me when I can’t love myself? I was at constant battle with Jesus and with my own desires. It wasn’t until I joined CCO and went to a fall retreat that I realized how vast His love and forgiveness was and that He loves me despite my brokenness. Since then, I’ve found comfort and life in my relationship with Jesus.

My Mission

My job as a missionary is vital to the church especially today. We as a church are evangelical and are called to make disciples of all nations. On campus, I get to do that by accompanying students and sharing the gospel of the love of Christ. There is so much joy in being a missionary and living out God’s calling for my life and being a witness to His love.

There’s nothing I’d rather do than bring other people to Christ especially university students who can be the renewal of the world.
