My name is Lukas and I am happily married to my beautiful wife, Gabriela. Growing up, my relationship with God was not always as strong as it is now. I started out unsure of how to approach God, and was living a life without any direction or sense of purpose. Through meeting a CCO missionary on my campus, I came to understand that Jesus died for me, that God has a plan for me, and that there’s a purpose to my life. In response to this new found purpose, I was baptized and entered into the Catholic Church in Easter of 2016.

I hope my story and my work with CCO will help other students experience the love of Jesus, and find a real purpose for their lives as well. In Gabriela’s words: “Though I grew up Catholic, my faith was really ignited in 2017 after taking a CCO faith study on my campus. There I discovered that a personal relationship with Jesus is possible, and so easily attainable! I love working as a missionary to help students encounter Jesus in a personal way, every day!”

Starting September, Gabriela will be working full-time to raise our family. Our son will be born at the end of August 2020. I will be returning to Trent University in Peterborough, working with my team, the student executive, and the University Chaplain to proclaim Christ and invite people to put Him at the centre of their lives.

Please pray for all of the students at Trent, especially the ones furthest away from Jesus. We would also be thankful for prayers as we start our little family here in Peterborough.
