I come from a very loving and supportive family. My parents, Debra and Nicolas, are always praying for me and there when I need them. My three sisters, Kristy, Nicole, and Jennifer, are my best friends. Their husbands, Sebastian, Dave, and Shane, are giving me a glimpse of what it would have been like to have brothers. My two nephews and two nieces bring a lot of laughter and delight to us all, and I love spending time with them.

Jesus is the best part of my life. He is the answer to every hardship and every hope I experience. Growing up Catholic, I always knew about God. But, it wasn’t until I was 19 that I let God fully into my life and heart. Now, my knowledge goes beyond my head and into my heart. Jesus has taken me on quite an adventure since then, and it just keeps getting better the more I fall in love with him. I can’t wait to see what the future will hold for our relationship!

I am currently serving CCO as the Associate Regional Director for the Western region. I have been a missionary with CCO for over 10 years, and am able to use my experience to help develop programming and the formation of our campus staff.

There are so many highlights it is hard to pick just one! I love my role, I love the mission of CCO, and I love how my call has grown my own personal relationship with Jesus. In my current role, my highlight is working with the Campus Leaders. Being in a position to offer the best of my skills and experience to help develop our current Team Leaders is very fulfilling. However, the greatest highlight in working for CCO is definitely seeing conversion. I am continually looking for opportunities to share the Gospel and invite a response. There is nothing like journeying with someone as they discover Christ.

CCO faith studies are a powerful thing in many peoples lives. I recently led a neighbor through the Discovery study and watch it transform her life. A relationship with God was finally accessible to her, and she went ‘All In’. Being so personally impacted has given her the desire to lead her friends in Discovery! I am working to help her grow in holiness and mission, with the hope that, through her witness, many lives will be changed. I have also seen close to a dozen women I have led in faith studies enter into serious discernment of the religious life by joining a religious order.

Being on staff with CCO has grown me in so many ways. I have discovered that, with Christ, you can do far more than you could ever ask or imagine! I have accomplished things I never would have thought I could do. But most importantly, being on staff with CCO has grown my personal relationship with Jesus. My entire day, week, month, year is centred around Christ. I need to always be open to the Holy Spirit in order to be led by Christ in my ministry. Talking about God, thinking about God, praying, and the fellowship provided by my fellow staff have all fed and watered my spiritual life. The joys and struggles of being a missionary have brought me face to face with the love of Jesus and – knowing and experiencing his love in such powerful ways – has, in turn, grown my love for him.

The one thing that can always be prayed for is that I will be led, guided, and protected by the Holy Spirit at all times. And that our students will open their hearts and minds to Christ, not keeping Him to themselves, but courageously sharing Him with others.
