Nico Zhomwa

I grew up Catholic, but faith often felt like something I inherited rather than something I personally chose. It wasn’t until I was in university that I encountered the person of Jesus and decided to enter into a real and more personal relationship with Him. When I moved to Canada, I discovered CCO and was drawn to the joy and conviction of people living their faith with purpose. Since then, I’ve grown so much—learning to immerse myself in my faith and let the Lord lead me in ways I never imagined.

My Mission

I said yes to becoming a missionary because I want to help others discover the life changing love of Jesus and run the race He’s marked out for them. What brings me the most joy is seeing others realize that Christ doesn’t just offer rules—He offers freedom, purpose, and abundant joy. In serving as a missionary I don’t just run for myself anymore—I run with others, toward Him.
