In my first year at the University of Saskatchewan, I met CCO. I was introduced to people joyfully living a life of personal relationship with Jesus Christ. CCO taught me through its faith studies and these friendships that I was created for a relationship with Jesus. And although my sins and lack of trust in Him have broken that relationship, Jesus offers a restored relationship with God by becoming a man, dying for me on the cross, and rising from the dead.
At the end of my second year, on April 7th, 2017, I decided to live my life in this restored relationship with God by going to confession and inviting Jesus to be at the center of my life. I further deepened this commitment by returning home to Jesus’ Church when I joined the Catholic Church on March 31st, 2018.
My Mission
There are so many university students across Canada who do not know Jesus. University can be a challenging time of discovery where multiple worldviews collide and compete. These students deserve to be told who Jesus is, how much He loves them, and to consider making a personal decision to invite Jesus to be at the center of their lives.
I am currently serving at the University of Winnipeg, where God will use me to invite others into a personal relationship with Jesus. In particular, I want to challenge young men to grow in virtue and be the future saints God wants them to be. Will you join me and support me on this exciting mission and adventure?
