Jesus’ personal love for me came during a confession at my grade 12 retreat. Before then I did not know that God could be so close to me, but in that confession, He made Himself small and relatable so that I could approach Him as I was. From there I knew I had to live only for Him and to accomplish this goal He led me to join CCO in my first year of university. After 4 years of studies and being involved with CCO it became more evident that God was forming me to be His missionary upon graduation. As a CCO missionary, I want to continue this adventure with Jesus and bring many souls along with me.
I have the privilege of continuing to proclaim the Gospel alongside the missionaries at UBC. The joy that comes from being an instrument for the Holy Spirit to proclaim, convert, and transform people’s lives, is a joy that gives me purpose. I am blessed to wake up every morning believing that my life is a delight to God and a gift to those He asks me to serve. Young people today are confused and anxious because they lack identity and purpose; I want to invite them to encounter their Identity and Purpose, to encounter Jesus who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (Jn 14:6).
