Get ready, CCO is heading back to Toronto! For the first time CCO will be hosting an all-women’s mission in partnership with our friends, the Sister of Life.

“This is the charism of the Sisters of Life: to mother the mothers of the unborn; to mother the unborn; to mother all those who are frail, all of those who are vulnerable, all those who are ill, all of those who are in danger of being put to death, all those whose lives the world considers useless. Our Lord says to each Sister of Life, ‘Woman, behold your son. Behold your daughter.’” — John Cardinal O’Connor

For 12 days we will live with, pray with, minister with and experience the culture of the Sister of Life. From 9-5, we’ll live the life of the Sisters and go where they go, and do what they do. We will partner with the Sisters in their ministry to some of the most vulnerable populations of Toronto and in their evangelistic activities. In the evenings you can expect to plan and host different evangelistic events, engage in random spiritual conversations, and look for other opportunities to share the Gospel.

To wrap up the mission, you will have an opportunity to go on pilgrimage to Martyrs Shrine in Midland, ON, the shrine dedicated to the North American Martyrs, some of the first missionaries to Canada.

Women on the Toronto mission can expect that God will not only minister through them, but he will do great things in their own lives. The training you receive and the experience of an authentic Christian community will equip you for a lifetime of mission in your family, your places of work, and your future parishes.

Please note that we aim to communicate with you about your acceptance no later than 3 weeks after the January 31, 2022 application deadline. However, sometimes delays can occur.

What’s included: Accommodations and most of your food in Toronto, project materials, local transportation.

What’s not included: Transportation to Toronto*, personal incidentals.

Fundraising: Each CCO Missions Participant has the opportunity to fundraise the entire cost of his or her mission trip. After you have been accepted for a mission, you will be provided tools and support for fundraising.

* Some of these expenses may be eligible for reimbursement dependent on fundraising efforts.
