June 4th & 5th, 2021

We are movement builders, centred around intentional accompaniment

What is Multiply?

Multiply is a conference dedicated to inspiring and equipping you to build movements of evangelization within your parish, workplace and beyond. Through keynotes and workshops, Multiply will give you the opportunity to learn from CCO’s 30+ years of evangelization experience.  You’ll also hear from experts who are leading movements in their parishes and dioceses across Canada and the USA.  Multiply will help you learn how to intentionally accompany others, grow a missionary culture, raise the capacity of the leaders around you, and build a multiplying missionary movement.

Who is Multiply for?

Multiply is for anyone who desires to make a change in their parish and diocese. Whether you are a CCO alumnus, engaged parishioner, parish employee or clergy member, if you desire to build a movement centred on evangelization and intentional accompaniment, then Multiply is for you.

Workshops

Block 1: Creating a Culture of Conversion

Speaker: Amber Effeuze (English); Tesi Wagner (Spanish)

Testimony is one of the most important tools we can have in our tool kit as missionaries. We share testimony because we celebrate conversion, and because it gives glory to God, but also because it can have a real impact on the lives of those we share it with. Join Amber/ Tesi for a deep dive into articulating your own testimony so that you can use it as an evangelization tool.

Speaker: Christy Dupuis

Coaching others to share their testimony is crucial for developing a missionary culture, and has a huge opportunity to engage them in the mission. In this session we will equip you to be able to work with others to develop their kerygmatic testimony.

Speaker: Eric Myatt

Why is it important to never assume anyone has had a conversion? How can we create the conditions to really find out if someone has? Join Eric Myatt, as he describes how he has navigated the crucial aspect of leading movements

Block 2: Incorporating Intentional Accompaniment

Speaker: Stephen Corsi (English); Elizabeth Sanesh (Spanish)

Prophetic Listening is how Intentional Accompaniment is able to really come alive in your ministry. Join us for this session where you will be trained on the the basic attitudes and skills necessary for you to start Prophetic Listening to others

Speaker: Michelle Diment

Are you a coach or movement builder looking to grow other coaches? This session will talk you through the art of cultivating others’ ability to rise up as multipliers.

Speakers: André Regnier

Are you in a diocesan leadership position? Are you dreaming about how Intentional Accompaniment could impact your diocese? This session will include conversations with 2 leaders about how they are incorporating this method throughout their diocese.

Speaker: Michelle Diment

As a movement multiplies how do you ensure that participants continue to receive the best experience possible? CCO uses a simple method of managing multiplication we call 1,2,3,4. Come to this session to learn what 1,2,3,4 is and how it can change your approach to ministry. The Journal as the context by which you have the conversations.

Speaker: Marc Cardaronella

Knowing how to recognize where some one is in their journey to Jesus is crucial for knowing how to walk with them. This session will help you identify how to recognize what threshold of conversion someone is at, and how you can meet them there in order to walk with them forward.

Block 3: Going from Here

(Made Available After the Conference)

Speaker: Amber Effeuze (English); Tesi Wagner (Spanish)

What’s the next step? Start here. In this session we will talk you through your movements founding year including how to select key leaders (FACT +start small), cast a vision, and invite them to a Discovery study, overview of the founding year.

Speaker: Ann Cook (English); Adriana Karstens (Spanish)

Have you watched Beginning Your Movement of Intentional Accompaniment? Good! Now let’s zoom into making your impact list of who God is asking you to invite, and how you’re going to do it! We will take time to help you pray and dream of who to invite, and then talk about best practices of how to do that.

Speakers: Andrew McGown (English); Tesi Wagner (Spanish)

How to apply prophetic listening in the context of a CCO faith study to ensure that you are journeying with people through the program. Focussing on the leader’s journal, building relationships of trust, asking good questions.

Speaker: Eric Chow

As we go out to begin the work of building a movement we need to first ensure we are coming to the Holy Spirit for guidance and strength. This session will share the practicals of how the Holy Spirit is key as you begin your movement as well as give you time to invite the Holy Spirit to move.

Speaker: Christy Dupuis

How to keep your movement focused on evangelization (not just a nice parish program). As you build your movement there are key principles that will help grow missionary disciples who are actively seeking the lost as opposed to volunteers participating in a program. Come and learn some of the key elements necessary to build missionary cutlure in your movement.

Speaker: Brendan Thompson

As we accompany those that we are leading, we need to know how to support someone as they grow in their missionary discipleship. This art of moving people from ‘here’ to ‘there’ is crucial for any leader. Join Brenden Thompson as he describes how to recognize and develop the necessary attitude, skills, and knowledge of those you are intentionally accompanying.

Speaker: André Regnier

Learn how to accompany your leaders in their prayer life. Key things to watch for, how to talk about prayer with your leaders, etc.

Speakers: Johannes Hussem

One of the most crucial aspects of leading a movement is seeking what God’s desire is and letting your strategic planning flow from there. In CCO, we call this ‘seeking the prophetic’. Join Johannnes (JJ) Hussem as he describes how to do just that.

Speakers: Melissa Siu-Chong, Robyn Aguila

Leaving campus isn’t easy, but what you’ve learned in your time with CCO there will set you up to become a great leader of a movement. Join Melissa and Robyn as they share what they’ve learned as they begin leading movements in their parishes.
