We will be returning to Ireland, to the city of Galway Ireland’s cultural heart. We will be specifically working at the National University of Ireland Galway with the existing chaplaincy and chaplains ( Fr. Horan and Fr. Hughes). We will exercise CCO’s charisms and outreach side-by-side with local leaders on campus.
There are many interesting facts about the city of Galway, most notably the region of The Claddagh. An ancient neighbourhood traditionally responsible for the Claddagh ring which has become an icon of Irish heritage as well as it’s symbolism to love, loyalty and friendship. This together with the city’s motto Ejus Manet In Secula Seculorum (His Praise Remains unto Ages of Ages) make it a great destination for missionaries carrying with them the Gospel founded on relationship with God.
This mission will take us to the city of Galway. and the National University of Ireland Galway (NUI Galway). The mission will train university students in CCO methods and materials, better equipping them for outreach on their campus. There will also be opportunities to host NightFever and other outreach events.
