The history of the Church in St. John’s is long – missionary priests arrived here as early as the 1500s to offer the Sacraments and to proclaim the Gospel. As time has gone on, many people do not know Jesus or do not know Him well enough. “A new generation of builders is needed” (St. John Paul II) to help restore the faith that is so historic here in Newfoundland.
Our goal to serve Canadian university students from “sea to sea” was realized in 2015 when a team of campus missionaries led the movement’s expansion to Memorial University in St. John’s, Newfoundland, the Atlantic region’s largest university.
