Hey there!

I was raised in Kitchener, Ontario and wound up doing my undergrad at Ryerson now TMU studying Theatre Production where I encountered CCO. From my studies and afterwards I worked as a Scenic Carpenter for a prominent theatre company until covid covered the globe. I then worked as a produce grader and sorter before I went to the States for a volunteer land-based experience with a religious community of sisters. In 2023 I began studies with a full scholarship at Yale in their theatre department but quickly had to withdraw from the program due to conflicts with my Catholic faith. I subsequently enrolled at Holy Apostles College and Seminary and completed my Masters in Pastoral Studies with a concentration in Apologetics, graduating in December 2025. I have now returned to Canada and have found my way to beautiful Muskoka.

I now live in Bracebridge Ontario working as a Carpenter full-time and a Kayak Guide part-time. When I am not at work you will either find me on the river kayaking, at my parish, visiting with family and friends in Southern Ontario, learning an instrument, or discovering a new recipe or music artist.

Why do I want to be on Mission?

So many people are in crisis situation; a loved one with cancer or dementia, financial instability, rocky relationships, mental health, work overload and so many more reasons. In all these circumstances people can find themselves searching for a deeper meaning in it all. It almost seems like the way God created us was to be programmed to go deeper into these issues on a hike, maybe something even as radical as doing a full Camino. People don’t necessarily know why their heart is taking them to the trail, often toted as ‘if in doubt hike it out’, but we know from scriptural tradition God seeks the longing heart in the wilderness. It is my hope on this mission to bring a sense of the sacred to those beginning their journey on the Camino. To allow others to have the opportunity to talk about why they are taking on this big undertaking and to be a welcoming presence, sharing weary hearts and weary legs. People are looking for something to happen on their pilgrimage and it might just happen through a couple of Canadians sharing the Gospel with them.
