Olivia C.

Hi! My name is Olivia and I am a third year chemistry student at the University of Ottawa. I have lived in Ottawa my whole life and would like to take my love for Christ outside the borders of my community. To keep myself busy between my chemistry labs and leading my faith study, I love dancing with the uOttawa dance club. I’ve been dancing my whole life, it combines staying active with my love for music. In fact, I grew up playing various instrument, singing in choirs, and love to praise our Father through music. I am so excited to go to Malta and make new Christian friends!

Why do I want to be on Mission?

This semester was my first time being a student leader for CCO and I am just finishing up my last few lessons. This has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life so far. Being able to see Jesus working in these girls’ lives is a beautiful privilege. When I heard about the opportunity to take the skills I have acquired this year over the ocean to Malta, I knew I could not pass it up. On top on evangelizing in this beautiful country, I am looking forward to learning from other like-minded young adults who I will be sharing this journey with.
