Hi, my name is Rebecca. I have lived in the capital city of Ottawa for the past 5 years but grew up in the beautiful Niagara Region. I studied Early Childhood Education and have been working in the field for the last 10 years. I currently work at a pediatric clinic for kids with autism and my favourite part of my job is getting to live among the saints.

Why do I want to be on Mission?

I am super excited to join the Camino mission. My aunt has walked the Camino many times, so it was a very normal conversation in our household. I have learned lots about the “pilgrim way” from her; as she has shared many stories about her pilgrimages and encounters she has had with pilgrims. My aunt recently passed away and before she passed I was able to tell her about this mission and how excited I was to be applying to it. I also had the opportunity to share the Kerygma with her which is what we will be sharing during this mission. Having the opportunity to be on this mission is definitely the Lord showing me that He has big things in store. I know that people on the Camino are often on their own journey and being able to witness my faith alongside others will be very powerful. Please know I will be praying for you as we walk by day and minister to the people on the way.
