My name is Rees Burton, I am a 22 year old student from Christchurch, Dorset, currently studying on an international exchange at Dalhousie University, Canada. The pivotal experience of my exchange has been meeting Catholic Christian Outreach (CCO). I began to seek faith in 2023, but it wasn’t until meeting CCO that I really had a relationship with Jesus. Through faith studies, the on-campus community and encouragement from missionaries, I have deepened my faith and understanding of Christ’s love and mission for us. I feel called to share this.

Why do I want to be on Mission?

I feel compelled to share the experience I have had with Jesus through CCO with the UK. Finding out that CCO had a missions trip to Wales this summer felt destined for me. I want to be on mission with CCO because I truly believe in their methods of evangelisation, and in enabling deeper relationships with Jesus. I have seen how CCO has changed my life and the life of countless others; I would love the opportunity to bring this home to the UK.
