Hi, I’m Sam. I’m 31 years old, originally from Ottawa, and now living in Montreal. I work as a commercial banker and have spent more than six years in the finance industry. Outside of work, I love travelling, exploring new places, meeting new people, and taking on adventures that challenge me both physically and spiritually.

A few years ago, I began attending church simply out of curiosity and a desire to seek the truth. What started as a small step unexpectedly became a life-changing journey, leading me from agnosticism to discovering the beauty of the Christian faith and encountering Christ in a profound way. Since then, my faith has become the foundation of my life, giving me a deeper sense of purpose, peace, and joy.

Why do I want to be on Mission?

This year, I’ll be walking a one-week section of the Camino de Santiago as a pilgrimage—a time of prayer, gratitude, reflection, and mission. I hope this journey will be an opportunity to grow closer to God, give thanks for the many blessings in my life, and share the hope and love of Christ with others along the way.

I’m also grateful for the opportunity to support a cause dedicated to bringing hope and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
