Hi! My name is Zoe, i’m a second-year student specializing in Economics with a minor in Sustainability Studies. I grew up in Nigeria surrounded by love and I spend most of my time trying to share that love with others in ways that resonate with them.
Lately, I have been revelling in God’s very personal love for me. I’ve found it’s much easier to navigate life when you trust in His will for you, leave your troubles at His feet and just spend time praising Him. How peaceful.

Why do I want to be on Mission?

I’d heard about Mission from the CCO Missionaries on campus and wondered how my faith could be impacted by this experience. During Rise Up, I was reminded of my interest in going on mission. At that point, I knew I had to bring it to God in prayer.
I’m always exploring opportunities to strengthen my relationship with God, from taking faith studies, to leading one, attending retreats and Cornerstone sessions. I’m most at peace when i’m in His presence, enveloped in His love for me.
Discovering God as ‘Father’ has had a profound impact on my relationship with Him. It has led me to re-evaluate me to ask ‘What can i do for you, Lord?’.
Much recently, I found myself thinking about the number of people who do not know who they are and what they have in Jesus; comfort, peace, HAPPINESS, clarity, love… and that’s just my personal experience!
To be able to bring this news to people and possibly witness how they are changed by it first hand would be an inexplicable experience.
