Zoë R.

Hello! My name is Zoë. I am in my fourth year of the Concurrent Education Program at Brock University. Although I’m in School in St Catherine’s, I’m from Sydenham Ontario. Sydenham is found close to Kingston Ontario. I did move far away from home but I value family time when I am at home.
I’m known as a walking library when I’m not in school. As I really like reading new books going through 8-10 books every three weeks in the summer. When I’m not reading, you can find me volunteering with Girl Guides of Canada. Some of my favourite games to play are Euchre, 5 crowns, SkyJo and Jack Box games. One of my other hobbies is doing escape rooms. For my birthday every year, it’s required that I do one.

Why do I want to be on Mission?

Recently I was taking commission discussing Mission and Identity in the Catholic Church. I was moved in lesson 2 when my missionary was sharing for one of the questions about this. I was further moved when I was reading that everyone deserves to hear the good news of Jesus. When I realized I wanted to go on mission and why not go this summer. I wanted to fulfil my role by going on mission. So those that I’m meant to share Jesus with do not miss out on that opportunity. As it brings so much joy to those that learn about Jesus and to me for being able to share it.
