I encountered God in a powerful way as a 16-year-old at my first Catholic youth conference. I sat in Eucharistic Adoration and looked around at the other teenagers praying in awe of our Lord, and I realized I desperately wanted their peace. God spoke to my heart and moved me to go to confession, and I experienced His love and mercy in a way that changed my life. Going to university in a big, new city, I was searching for a community that I could continue to grow in faith. As a student at Ryerson University, I found a faith family through CCO and heard the personal call to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Mt 28:19).
My Mission
It is my great joy to serve in the mission at my Alma Mater, Ryerson University. As a student, my heart longed for my classmates and peers to experience the love of God. Now, as Team Leader, I am blessed to oversee and grow the mission of inviting people to encounter Jesus on campus. There is nothing more beautiful than seeing a son or daughter return home to the Father. This is why I’m a CCO missionary. Thank you for being a part of the joy through your support and prayers.
