I was baptized and raised Catholic going to mass as a young child, but my family fell away from the Church when I was still in elementary school. I first started to become curious about my faith again when I was preparing for the sacrament of Confirmation, the Holy Spirit was stirring deeply in my heart, but I just didn’t know it yet.

My parish began a youth program when I started high school and figured I would go try it out as a social thing, and to try to understand this faith that seemed to be popping back into my life. When I was 16, the youth ministry program took me to a conference in Rhode Island and it was there that I first truly met Jesus through adoration and the sacrament of confession. My life was changed, I had found out what it meant to be completely and irrevocably loved by God for the first time.

When I went to university I was nervous, scared and unsure of how I could continue living out my faith in a big, new city where I knew no one. I met CCO at Ryerson University and I knew that this was going to be my new faith family. Through CCO I grew in my relationship with Jesus, began to learn what it means to live a faithful Catholic life, and found my call to mission to help others come to know Jesus as a close and personal friend the way that I have.

I am incredibly excited to be starting my first year with CCO staff as a campus missionary at Concordia University in Montréal, Québec! God is so good that He would allow me to get to meet with students daily, lead them through small group faith studies and walk with them personally in their journey to know Christ. There seriously could not be a better job! As a student with CCO I was privileged to see hearts won for Jesus and I am looking forward with great expectation to see what the Lord will do at Concordia this year!

Please pray for the missionary team and students at Concordia that the Lord would move in our lives. Please also pray for the conversion of my family, and all those who do not know Jesus well enough.
