Antonio Pittet

At a young age I was convicted that I needed to choose between a heavy sin in my life and God; the sin was tempting, but ate me up, God brought me more peace so I chose to follow Him. I am a very strong-headed person, so when I make a decision I stick to it; God though brought love into this. In highschool, I began to read about the lives of saints. I was struck by incredibly beautiful relationships they had with God; It was more attractive than anything else I’ve ever seen. These stories of these saints has placed a strong desire in my heart to pursue God and to make sanctity my goal in life; I hope to one day become a saint and live a life as beautiful as their lives were.

My Mission

I have always had a desire to share my faith with others and a conviction that the Catholic church is the one true church and that all belong to her. When I met CCO, I was excited to have a community in which young people shared my values, finally there were people who I could speak openly about my faith with. I love CCO because they taught me very effective ways of sharing my faith that bring about real conversions. It brings me great joy to be able to actually grow the church and help to evangelize the world. I like to think that this world is the story about how everyone meets Jesus and comes to follow him, and through CCO I get to be a part of these stories.
