Austin Arsenault

I initially encountered Christ in the writings of St. Thomas Aquinas and encountered as Truth. Truth was something I valued very much, so I started to take my faith seriously. When I started to study at university, I encountered CCO who challenged me to go deeper into my faith. To not only understand God as Truth, but to say yes to a personal relationship with Him, with Jesus. I made my yes, and went out sharing the Gospel, which has grown my relationship with Christ even more.

I will be a campus missionary at the University of Calgary. I’m super excited to encounter the flourishing ministry there, and lead students in their faith and their mission. I especially look forward to encountering the huge men’s ministry, what a gift for a community! The most inspiring moments for me with CCO, honestly, are the moments when leading a student through a faith study and they experience conversion, experience the love of Christ and want to invite Him to be at the center of their life. It’s so beautiful to accompany when a student says yes to a relationship with Christ!
