Christopher Beninger

As a lifelong atheist, I had always thought that journeying into faith meant checking my intelligence at the front door. Little did I know how far that was from the truth! After discovering Jordan B Peterson’s work in 2017 and his insistence on the importance of the Biblical narratives, that intellectual barrier was removed. This led me to seriously consider the Bible for the first time in my life, and, as a result, I took a deep dive— ultimately beginning my faith journey towards Christ. In July 2020, I was baptized and confirmed into the Church and have been active in my parish community since. Converting to the Catholic Faith has been the best, single decision of my life—followed closely by asking for my wife’s hand in marriage!

My Mission

Cultivating the Kingdom of Heaven in our media-saturated and fast-paced environment requires a dedicated analytical and strategic function within the movement. In my new role as Marketing Research & Analytics Specialist, I will be working with the Media & Marketing team to better connect with young Canadians and help them grow in their faith journey, in particular their relationship with Jesus Christ. My role will also include working with the Executive Team to help advance movement-wide priorities. I bring a wealth of experience from 16 years in the public service that I will now apply to assisting the Church in fulfilling its salvific mission.
