Maria-Emilia Romero Morales

In my second year of university, I grew interested in learning about the Catholic faith. I joined a CCO faith study, hoping to learn more about God. What I didn’t expect was that, beyond learning about Him, I would get to know Him personally.
I used to want to know about Jesus in my mind – but, through the faith study, I realized that Jesus was inviting me to know Him in my heart. It was then that I decided to say “yes” to living a life rooted in Christ.

My Mission

Getting to know Jesus and embracing a personal relationship with Him gave me the purpose and direction I was desperately longing for. There are still so many students who feel lost and desire to be found too. Now, as a Campus Missionary, I’ll have the incredible opportunity to walk with students as they encounter Christ, say yes to Him, and start living as missionary disciples. It fills me with so much joy to see souls returning to the Father and experiencing peace like never before. What brings me even more joy is seeing those same students embrace their missionary identity and begin sharing the Gospel with others. What a blessing it is to be part of this wonderful adventure!
