Like the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32), I was far away from God at a point in my life. Weighed down by my sins and imperfections, I struggled to understand how He could still love me and want to have a personal relationship with me.
This all changed during a night of prayer and worship hosted by CCO, where Jesus Christ met me exactly where I was at and restored my relationship with God in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Through this personal encounter with Jesus, I began to understand that I didn’t need to rely on myself or be perfect to experience His immense love for me—all He needed was my “Yes!” and HE would take care of everything. In that moment, I chose to place my trust in Jesus and give Him my “Yes!”.
Building the kingdom of God (Matthew 6:38) is the greatest mission that we are all called to fulfill together.
As a CCO campus missionary, the Lord has granted me the wonderful gift of making Jesus known and loved by university students in Canada. To bring the light of Christ to others is always a privilege, and my confident hope is that the Holy Spirit will enlighten many lives through my cooperation with His grace and power.
Our Lady of Perpetual Help and St. Michael the Archangel, pray for us.
