Nick Jenne

After living a lifestyle with a lot of self reliance and pressure to perform, eventually things sort of came crashing down for me. In a painful summer with the shambles of my efforts around me, it felt like God was saying “Look, you’re not trying to hold the world up, and yet you’re still alive”. A few months later, I met CCO on campus. I cannot deny that the trajectory of my life has changed since being accompanied by a missionary, giving my ‘Yes’ to a relationship with Jesus, and living my life with Him. The core truth that God speaks to me is that we are never alone. I am still the same man in a lot of ways but now in every struggle and every joy I can share it with someone, look up to someone, and be changed by that someone.

My Mission

I have spent lots of time searching in different places, but God has patiently and persistently called me back to Him and still patiently and persistently calls me closer. I know He is doing the same in every person’s heart, but that the obstacles and barriers in today’s world are big. I believe that God meets us exactly where we are at, and I am here as a broken (but loved) sinner to walk with others, and invite people to say ‘Yes’ to a relationship that can change everything.
