Before I got to know Jesus, my life was meaningless and had no purpose. I had always wanted to have Jesus at the center of my life, but I felt like I was unworthy, and too far gone. This all changed one night during a prayer in front of Jesus, where I asked him, “How do I truly surrender myself to You?” That’s when Jesus spoke to me, the clearest He had ever spoken to me, and said, “Get baptized.” I realized that I didn’t need to become ‘worthy’ enough to give Jesus my life, all Jesus wanted was my heart. That Easter, I got baptized, I grew in my relationship with Jesus, and was filled with wonder and awe at the amazing things He could do for me.

My Mission

After my conversion, my faith came alive in a new way and I saw how truly amazing a life with Jesus at the center of my life could be. I really wanted to share my experience with as many people as possible, but I lacked the courage to do so, and I thought that mission was something way above me. This all changed when I went on mission in the summer of 2025 where I saw how the gospel presented clearly and simply could actually change so many lives, and I really felt Jesus calling me to a missionary life. I felt that everyone needed to hear this, and everyone needed to know how Jesus drastically changed my life for the better. If Jesus could save someone like me, how much more could He do for all of those who are lost right now! Because of this, I knew that the Lord was calling me to share how the gospel changed my life to everyone I could.
