Rony Dominic

Despite growing up in a Charismatic Catholic family and engaging fully with Catholic traditions, I always felt an unfillable void, a profound emptiness that deepened with my pursuits for acceptance and achievement. My transformative moment came at 18 during a Jesus Youth Conference, where a deep, heartfelt prayer and a call to dedicate my life to Christ birthed Rony 2.0—confident and truly fulfilled. This pivotal experience spurred me into more missionary work and leadership roles within the Jesus Youth Movement. My journey took a dramatic turn at the 2024 World Youth Day in Portugal, compelling me to leave a promising job in the UAE and travel over 11,000 kilometers with my wife and 3 kids and to join CCO Staff as a full-time Catholic lay missionary. Through this journey, Christ has been vibrantly real in every aspect of my life, reshaping me and showing that true joy and purpose are found in Him.

My Mission

As a qualified accountant with extensive experience in corporate finance, treasury, business intelligence, investment management and business controlling, my role at CCO as a full-time lay missionary perfectly blends my professional expertise and my passion for Youth ministry with Jesus Youth. Driven to enhance CCO’s financial systems and controls through automation and process improvements, my work strengthens our technological and financial capabilities. This not only supports our mission to expand and deploy more missionaries globally but also fuels my joy in using my skills to advance God’s kingdom, positioning CCO as a leading Catholic missionary movement in the world.
