Sarah Knude

After stepping away from my faith, I found myself chasing affirmation and accolades. I would push myself until I couldn’t, and I would rely only on myself to achieve success. When a family member got sick, I found myself having to face the reality of what I had been chasing. All at once, I saw all of my weakness, my brokenness, my failure to love as I should. In this place of desperate need, I found Christ, full of mercy and compassion. From there, I could do nothing but seek Him out in all that I do.

Shortly after this beautiful encounter, I returned to university, and found CCO. With a burning desire to do all for Jesus, I was so blessed to experience the power of CCO’s faith studies, community and heart for conversion. CCO has been a place of ongoing conversion for me, and the place where Christ has revealed my missionary heart.

My Mission

It has been my great joy to watch young people encounter Christ through CCO, to witness hearts be transformed, and to experience the Holy Spirit moving in my own heart. I have had the immense privilege of seeing Christ’s pursuit of the lost, and have fallen more deeply in love with Jesus as I have come to know His heart through mission.

It is through CCO that the Holy Spirit has put a longing to share the love of Jesus with everyone I meet. It is in love that I long to share the Gospel on campus, and I cannot wait to begin the adventure.
