Peter Ottenbreit

I grew up in the Catholic faith, hearing about Jesus and his love for me. When I was in high school though, I began to struggle to see how he was working in my life, and began to drift further and further from him. In grade 12 I met CCO, and heard about how Jesus was inviting me into a personal relationship with him. I learned that he desired to be so close to me, and loved me even though I had rejected him through my sin! This inspired me to make the decision to invite him to be at the centre of my life, to be my Lord and Saviour.

My Mission

After encountering Jesus’ love, the first thing that I wanted to do was share this love with others! Throughout university I had this privilege of seeing many of my friends lives change through Jesus’ healing love, as well as my own. This is what inspired me to be a Campus Missionary with CCO, devoting all of my time to spreading Jesus’ message of hope at Memorial University of Newfoundland next year!
