God invited me to love Him not only on the surface level, but rather dive deep into His heart to truly see who He is – the Father who provides and loves me intimately and personally… Taking the steps to keep choosing Him and go deeper into His love allowed me to experience how powerful it is to be loved by God… During Covid, I was reminded to not have fear and be anxious because of the powerful experience at Rise Up; despite the isolation, I experienced how deep the Father’s love is.

Rise Up gave me an opportunity to hear Jesus call me higher and deeper… Although I came in pretty aimless, I left with a clear conviction to serve on a summer mission – which would bring both of my feet into CCO and my hand on the plow in ministry and evangelization. The conference planted deep seeds in my spiritual life also, introducing me to convicting speakers who have been a deep well for nourishing my ongoing relationship with Jesus.

This transformative weekend helped form and seal my commitment to Jesus as a young adult coming back seriously into my faith. Because of Rise Up, I’m thankful to have kept a community that shares my values after 7+ years. It was also a great opportunity to travel Canada and connect with like-minded young adults from different provinces. Going there made me feel encouraged that there are hundreds of Faithful alive and eager to proclaim Jesus.
